Making Money with a Chronic Illness
For the last 6 years I’ve struggled with my health. It seems like yesterday I competed in fitness competitions and could run circles around other people when it came to being a type-A work horse. Coming to the realization being chronically ill is the new normal takes time. Telling people to just “get over it” or “move on” doesn’t help. It takes an incredible amount of self-reflection, honest discussions about your health and optimism about your future. There is certainly a learning curve of the new ebb and flow of life. It seems I never know how I will feel when I wake up and I suspect that contributes to my inability to fall asleep at night.
As I continue to write on this website and do video blogs, you will learn more about my professional and health journey. I am the TMI (too much information) girl. I will share stories with you at dinner and not even blink an eye when you look at me with disgust. While I still am working on finding my own answers, I want you to know you aren’t alone. There are millions of people like us with chronic illnesses and they all have their own story. We all go through our own journey with this and we can’t tell each other how to live their lives – even though most people want to. I promise you I will never tell you how to live your life. I will teach you ways to cope with being chronically ill. I will show my ways of making money and prospering despite my illnesses. I will share with you the good and the bad, the pretty and the ugly because that’s just the kind of person I am.
Watch my video and maybe I can give you some insight about me but also hope for your own situation. Towards the end shit gets real so stay tuned for at least the last 5 minutes. Or fast forward to the last five minutes lol! I also started writing posts on my income reports to show you my progress of making money – what sources they come from and how they grow (or shrink) each month. Don’t forget to check those out as well.
As always Thank You,
Rebecca
The Bexa Boss Lady
Hi Rebecca,
Great video and very inspirational. Really touched me, your honesty and humanness (if that is the right word).
Fortunately I can say that despite not going through the severity which you have unfortunately gone through, I have Dyspraxia (learning disability). Yet the one thing which I am good at is trading – reselling. And your videos are such an inspiration for me – especially as I am based over in Buckinghamshire (UK, just outside London) reselling isn’t common over this way. So it is good to meet someone talking about it,
Keep up the good work,
